A: At amagugu.com, we are confident the quality of our merchandise will exceed your expectations. If you are not satisfied with your purchase simply follow the instructions below.
amagugu.com will accept merchandise returns within 90 days of purchase and issue a credit or refund at the time of return only with a valid receipt. A valid receipt is an original sales receipt, gift receipt or packing slip.
Pending inspection, a credit or refund will be issued for the item value. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable.
To return an item by mail or courier, package the product VERY carefully, insure the package and send it to the address on the packing slip. Your return must be sent back to the correct address for us to credit or refund your purchase. The correct return address is:

+ Can I purchase a gift item that is currently on backorder?
A: Absolutely. We will expedite completion of your gift order as soon as possible.
+ What exchange rate is applied to my order?
A: Real-time exchange rates are applied to your orders. The rate charged to you is a guaranteed amount and will not change once you accept an order. To determine the exact price before you buy, simply add items to your order and select your currency. If we don’t provide pricing in your local currency please use any of the other listed currencies but please note, a further conversion to your local currency will thus take place.
+ How much duty is charged on my order?
A: Amagugu.com, via the holding company Madnez AG Investments registered as an exporter with the South African Department of Trade and Industries and Customs. Given that all amagugu.com’s products are handmade in South Africa or African countries, most countries allws the products in, duty free. Should any duties be payable, they are for the account of the customer. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to provide detailed information here as the calculations are simply to complicated taking into account territories, nature of product etc. The South African Government has the following trade agreements in place:
Under AGOA (African Growth and Opportunity Act) with the United States of America, the South African and African products exported by amagugu.com to the United States are duty free. See www.agoa.gov
TDCA (Trade and Development Cooperation Agreement) is a bilateral agreement between the EU and South Africa. GSP (Generalized System of Preferences). Under this agreement, the South African and African products exported by amagugu.com to the EEC, Norway, Switzerland, Russia and Turkey are subject to preferential duties.
+ How do you calculate your shipping and handling charges?
A: We use either an international courier company or the Post Office depending on; nature of the product and the destination of the shipment. On all orders we will calculate the shipping costs and inform you what those will be. We will also inform you of whom we are using for the particular shipment and as far as possible, provide you with the means to track and trace your order.
The shipping charges are calculated taking into account; destination, weight and dimensions of the product.
+ How do I place an order?
A: First, click on the product image or product name to view the item details. To add an item to your order, enter the quantity you wish to purchase into the Quantity box then click the Add to Cart button. When you are ready to checkout, you have two options to choose from. You can click the Checkout button right after you've added an item to your cart or you can click on My Cart and then click on the Checkout button. Clicking on the Checkout bottom will take you to either the Sign In/Registration page. Here, you can Sign In if you already have an account with us, or you can now register before actually paying for the order. When you have made your Sign In choice, you will complete a series of forms with your billing, shipping and payment information. Upon completing these forms, just click Continue/Place Order. A confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction. You may choose to print this for your records. An email version of this summary will be sent promptly.
+ How do I pay for my order?
A: We accept PayPal,MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Optima, NOVUS (Discover Network),??????? and amagugu.com Gift Vouchers.(make it a link to Gift Voucher option). We also offer the ability to pay via Electronic Funds Transfer (“EFT”) to 3 different bank accounts, one in Europe, one in USA and one in South Africa. Please select the account to transfer to that will best suit your location but you can transfer into any of these accounts.
+ How soon will the gift registry be updated with my purchases?
+ How do I redeem my Gift Voucher?
A: Make your selections and proceed to Checkout as usual. On the Payment page, enter your Gift Voucher Number. Then click Apply Gift Card.
Please Note: Gift Vouchers may be used in combination with any of the payment mechanisms to complete your transaction.
+ Do I have to spend the exact amount of my Gift Voucher?
A: No. If your purchase amount is less than the value of the Gift Voucher, you will be issued a new voucher for the balance amount. Please note, any balance less than US$?? will be deemed as used and no new voucher will be issued. (THIS NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED IN T&C ALSO) If your purchase amount is greater than the voucher balance, you will need to make the additional payment with a credit card or any of the other payment mechanisms.
+ Do amagugu.com Gift Vouchers expire?
A: Any unused balance (other than balances below the equivalent of US$5.00)????? does not expire and remains on your Gift Voucher until it is spent. You will be issued a new Gift Voucher for any balances left (larger than US$5.00)???? after using a Gift Voucher.

A: On the HOME page you simply select the register option on the top right hand side of the screen. Please note we require accurate billing and delivery addresses during the registration process. Should you want to add different delivery addresses at a later stage, sending a gift to a loved one for example, you will be given the opportunity to do so during the checkout process.
You can also register after placing your treasures in the shopping cart. As soon as you want to checkout, you either have to sign in (see section – How do I sign in?) or register.
+ How do I sign in?
A: On the HOME page, select the sign in option. During the registration process, you selected an email address and a unique password. Please use these to login with. You can also sign in after placing your treasures in the shopping cart. As soon as you want to checkout, you either have to register (see section – How do I register?) or sign in. + How do I buy a gift voucher?
A: The option - Gift Voucher – remains on all screens on amagugu.com. Simply select the option, and follow the steps. You can buy a gift voucher in any of the currencies as available on the site and for any value larger than the equivalent of $10 (TBC). Your gift voucher will be “delivered” to your loved one via the email information provided. We follow a confirmation process with the delivery BUT please ensure that you provide us with accurate email details.
Please note, a gift voucher becomes like cash once activated. Should the gift voucher details be lost, its like loosing cash! It can be used by somebody else should they get their hands on it.
+ How do I unsubscribe from newsletters and/or emails?
A: Simply select the newsletter option and update your newsletter selections. You can completely unsubscribe or merely change your areas of interest.
